Love Arcade: Michigan StepManiaX Tournament

Love Arcade is the first Round1 StepManiaX event intended for players of all skill levels! In this one-day tournament, players will compete in one of two divisions: Lower (Hard/Wild difficulties) and Upper (Wild difficulties) based on a qualifying set. Aside from the bracket, players will also get the opportunity to earn prizes and other goodies through “cheevo tracking”, bite-sized achievements obtained through match play. The meaning of Otaku to the club’s Leadership/Consulting Team and their members is being a passionate fan of anime, manga, comics, cartoons, video games, or K-Pop/J-Pop. U is taken from the word university because the convention is being held on our college campus. Our main goal is to create an event for people to come together from an array of fandoms to celebrate and share their enthusiasm with other anime fans, no matter their ages.

Center-Palm Showdown

Welcome to the 1st annual Center Palm Showdown:
Where players from all over the Mitten state come to rep their region!
1:00 PM Doors Open
2:00 PM SF6 Pool Play
4:00 PM SF 6 Bracket
5:00 PM MK1 Pool Play
7:00 PM MK Bracket
9:00 PM End of Event
This tournament will begin broken up into 3 regions:
1. East (Detroit to Ann Arbor)
2. Central (Lansing to Jackson)
3. West (Grand Rapids to Kalamazoo)
Everyone will play five pool matches (1 within their region, 2 in each other region).
From there, players will be placed into 1 of 2 brackets: the higher tier, and the lower tier.
Both brackets will be in double elimination.
Payout: 60%/30%/10%
