Anime Arbor 2026

Come join us for a one-day celebration of all things anime and manga! Enter the Cosplay Contest, or just snap some pictures at our photo-op area. Pick up some merch from the Artists Alley, or make your Anime Arbor mascot swag! This event is free, and no registration is required!

Don’t forget about our panels and Q&A sessions with our special guests! This year, Anime Arbor is proud to welcome voice actor Kayli Mills and cosplay experts Akakioga, AlpacaAsh, Jazzthebat, and Halcybella.

Announcing the 2026 Anime Arbor Special Guest!
Kayli Mills

Kayli grew up in multiple towns in the LP of Michigan. As a child she was frequently relocated,
but in middle school she found comfort and friendship in creating song covers, writing and voice
acting online. After years of chasing her dream, you can hear her as colorful cast of characters
including Keqing (Genshin Impact), Rapie and Alice (NIKKE), Alice (Sword Art Online), Emilia
(Re:Zero), Clara (Welcome to Demon School: Iruma-kun), Quna – Speaking and singing (PSO2)
and many more!

Beyond being a voice actor, Kayli is also a professional writer, lyricist and singer with a
certification in audio engineering and a Youtube channel with a following for her cover songs.
She has also sung and appeared in a music video for a single released by J-pop singer Yun*Chi. She is a part of the virtual idol group Interlunium, an 11 member group that releases original music and story. She even designed her own character, Akira!

Comic Geek Out 2026

Discover your inner hero at the library’s annual comic event. Celebrate the comic books you love and geek out about your favorite fandom. Join us for hands-on activities, snacks, free books, a comic & craft station, and other fun events designed for all ages.

Attendees can take home a free 2026 Comic Geek Out poster designed by Cody Coppernoll and enjoy free snacks and refreshments while supplies last.

Meet and Greet with Damien Haas
1:30 – 2:30 pm, Auditorium
Damian Haas will be onsite throughout the day to sign autographs.
Join a Q&A session with voice actor Damien Haas! Damien Haas is an actor, writer, and voice actor best known for his work with Smosh Games on YouTube. His voice roles include Laios in Delicious in Dungeon, Kiyoka Kudo in My Happy Marriage, Heller in Starfield, and Shez in Fire Emblem.

How-To Halloween 2026

How-To Halloween is a family-friendly festival that celebrates creativity, imagination and the innovative spirit of the frightfully fun season!

Discover a wicked wonderland of interactive exhibits, unique vendors, spookalicious food and amazing entertainment! Our mission is to inspire kids and the ‘kids at heart’ to get goose bumps for the creative process as they participate in many hands-on activities, how-to sessions and immersive experiences.

Fire up your proton packs because we’re busting GHOSTS for our 11th annual extravaganza! Meet the members of the local Ghostbuster fan groups along with Michigan Beetlejuice as you venture through the haunted cemetery on a thrilling journey to search for supernatural spirits appearing around every corner of the spooky trail. BOO!

Everyone is invited to many outdoor attractions and festivities happening in the Riverside Parking Lot of Impression 5 Science Center which is FREE to attend!

There is also special programming inside the science center (regular admission fee to enter) including the experienced professionals from Southern Michigan Paranormals who will be sharing spine-tingling stories about the mysterious places they’ve visited across the state and showing off all the high-tech gear they use to detect ghostly phenomena.

We also have trick-or-treating for the kids outside along with costume contests, character appearances and the Downtown Lansing Zombie Walk. So mark your calendar, tell your friends and get your costume ready for a spooktacular day on Saturday October 4th from 11am-5pm on the grounds of Impression 5.

MEGGAXP 2026

Michigan’s Entertainment, Gaming, Geek and Arts Experience is BACK for MeggaXP 2026!!! After a 6 year hiatus, we brought MeggaXP back in 2025 for our 10 year anniversary, and we are running it back again for 2026!!!

What is MeggaXP?
MeggaXP is a celebration of all things entertainment, gaming, geek and arts! It’s like a “comic-con” of sorts, except we offer WAY more to do than most cons. We are a completely different EXPERIENCE – hence the name.

What can I do at MeggaXP?
You can do all kinds of things. For starters, there is a vendor room with over 50 vendors setup selling you anything and everything from the world of pop culture. Original art, books, collectibles, toys, models, jewelry, movies, posters, you name it – if it’s pop culture related, it’s there! On top of that, we have huge gaming rooms filled with tons of free to play video games, board games, card games, and more! We also have a cosplay contest at 3pm, and tons of live action game shows going throughout the day! Our event schedule will be posted as time goes on, but know that in the past we have done things like Name That Tune, Geekly Feud, Jeopardy, Star Wars Trivia, Surviving the Line, A Room Divided, and tons more! The best part? ALL of the experiences during the regular show hours are included for ONE PRICE!

How much does it cost to attend MeggaXP?
This event is designed to be affordable for everyone! Adult tickets are $15, high school students are $10, and middle school and younger kids are $5. Military past and present get in free as well! There are also VIP tickets available (extremely limited) that gives you a ton of features and swag, pricing to be announced soon for those!

Where can I get tickets?
Tickets will go on sale on Thursday, April 16th, at 8:00 AM!
