Southwest Michigan Train Show Spring 2026

The Southwest Michigan Train Show is rolling back into town at the Kalamazoo Expo Center on April 4th from 10AM to 3PM. Whether you are adding to your layout, or just starting in the hobby, this is the place to be. Search all of the vendors to find that great deal, or that rare item. With over 150 vendor tables there are many bargains to be found! There will be running layouts to view from local clubs. This is your chance to see the beautiful layouts that these clubs spend many hours crafting. They would be happy to discuss model railroading, and current trends with you. This could be your one stop trip for model railroading supplies, toy trains, railroading memorabilia, and collectibles.
Admission: Adults $5, Kids 12 & under Free with Adult

Dokidokon 2026

Dokidokon is ‘A Convention With Heart’. It’s our motto for a reason, and for the past 6 years we’ve put our love and passion into hosting this convention every July!

Doki is primarily an anime and gaming convention which takes place in Kalamazoo Michigan over the summer. We do welcome cosplay and fandoms outside of anime and gaming such as those in the furry community, Lolita community, comic cons, and more!

At Doki you can expect a wide range of events planned over the course of a weekend. We have panels, concerts, workshop events, a vendor room for you to spend way too much money in, special guests you can get autographs from, cosplay gatherings and more!

If you enjoy gaming you can enjoy our very own Tabletop game room and Video game room! If you need a quiet space to retreat and relax in our manga room/quiet room is perfect for this.

Over 2,000 people attend Dokidokon and with your continued support we are growing each year! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you very much for showering the love back on our staff. We couldn’t run this event without you, and we hope to become a convention you look forward to year after year.

WizardCon 2026

WizardCon is a premier gaming and scifi / fantasy convention in Battle Creek Michigan. It is held every year during the last weekend in April, and this year in 2026 will be it’s second year. WizardCon has major OSR and current gaming industry guests and expect his year to exceed 400 people in attendance.

Special care is given to the gamer and attendees as we know it is the gamer and attendee who really make up what this convention is. When you come to the convention you can anticipate any manner of tabletop games being played. From modern 5E Dungeons and Dragons, to old school board games, and everything in between.

Marmalade Dog 28 Gaming Convention
