Motor City Black Age of Comics and Manga Con 2025
Motor City Black Age of Comics and Manga Con is an event where a diversity of fans and supporters come together to share their passions and express their ideas with a group of like-minded people. We want you to feel comfortable enough to be yourself in an open and inclusive environment. Our mission is to create an avenue for all People of Color to share their literary artistry to the world.
Since 2009, we’ve been a valuable resource for fans of all colors, with important news and updates. We never rest , and are always looking to improve and expand our industry by giving back to the community, stories that reflect us (FUBU). Black Sci Fi, Manga, Comics, Afrofuturism, CosPlay and more… Come on out September 20th, 2025 and have fun with us.

Con Ja Nai XXIX
Con Ja Nai is a FREE “not a con(vention),” hosted by Animania, the Japanese Animation Film Society at the University of Michigan. Con Ja Nai has a few staples that make it worth coming to!

Where: University of Michigan Ann Arbor campus, Modern Languages Building (812 Washington St, Ann Arbor, MI 48109)
What: Maid Cafe, Music Performances, Panels, all the anime you can watch, and more!
Artists and vendors are also returning!

MiAnime Convention
MiAnime (Michigan Anime Convention) is a 2 day anime con taking place at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI. The event is family friendly and will feature Anime, Manga, Itasha, Gunpla, Kaiju, Voice Actor / Artist Guests, Cosplay, Cosplay Competition/ Games, Photo Opp Scenes, Free interactive activities, Free make and take events, Itasha/ JDM/ Japanese Car show, 360 photo booth, Ribbon Games, LARP experiences, Panels, Workshops, Japanese Culture experiences, and GOOD VIBES.
