Michigan Nordic Fire Festival 2026

The Michigan Nordic Fire Festival was created in 2016 to celebrate winter, fire, family and fun. As the days start to get longer and days start to warm, we created an opportunity to get outside, throw spears, and try some of the wonderful beers and meads produced in the area.

2026’s theme will be Jörmungandr!

Jörmungandr, the World Serpent, is the middle child of Loki and the giantess Angrboða. Taken from his parents by Odin and cast in to the great ocean surrounding Midgard, the Serpent grew so monstrous that he was able to surround the Earth and grasp his own tail. Jörmungandr releasing his tail is one of the signs of the beginning of Ragnarök.
