Kickin’ It Old Skool – Nostalgic Market

MeggaXP and Yardsaleapalooza combine forces for one unique event – – – presenting Kickin’ It Old Skool – Nostalgic Market!
What is this, exactly?
This is a collection of 50 vendor spots that will be selling nothing but OLD SKOOL merchandise from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s! We’re talking video games, movies, cassette tapes, records, toys, board games, vintage clothing, sports cards, furniture, books, collectibles and more! If it came from 2000 or earlier, you can find it at The Nostalgic Market!

In addition to having 50 tables of totally rad items, we will also be featuring some killer side events for the hippest of kids! These events include:
Video Game Contests – We have assembled some of the most bodacious games from the 80s and 90s and are having hourly video game challenges! Each hour we will crown a new winner and give them Kickin Credits to spend at the show! So take off those dust jackets on your NES games and grow an extra hand to handle that awkward N64 controller, because it’s time to put all of those hours sitting in front of those tube TVS to good use – – and earn some moolah for doing it!
Trivia Contests / Game Shows – From 80s and 90s “Name That Tune” to “The Many Faced Game” to Game Show Like experiences, time to open up your Trapper Keepers and START STUDYING because if you win at these contests, you will win Kickin Credits to spend at the show!
80s and 90s Themed Drink Specials – The bar will be open and ready to serve you some of the most far-out concoctions you’ve ever sampled! Things like the Slimer Cocktail (who remembers Ecto-Coolers??? They’re coming back for this show, people!), The Papa Smurf, or the Purple Rain (Purple Rain)! You can get your shop on and your drink on simultaneously!
80s and 90s Music All Day – We promise to have a showroom that’s full of energy and excitement as we blast nothing but nostalgic hits from yesteryear while you shop!
This is the brainchild of both MeggaXP and Yardsaleapalooza – – – combining elements of both shows into one special day!
The MeggaXP elements will be the video gaming, game shows, and trivia contests.
The Yardsaleapalooza elements will be the vendor booth pricing and most importantly of all – the FREE ADMISSION!

Do you want to help a great organization that is supporting the beloved Dorr Township Library??

Join us February 9th from 12 pm-4 pm to enjoy some 5 Lakes Brewing dishes & brews and bring your friends and family to bowl a few games in our bowling alley as well!

If a library millage does not pass in 2020, Dorr Township Library will close its doors in early 2021.
We will be donating 10% of all food and bowling sales on February 9th towards the cost of the ballot.

& :
Friends of Dorr Township Library is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, their mission is to support the library by assisting them where other funding is not available.

On Tuesday, March 10, 2020, you can vote on the millage increase in hopes of keeping the Dorr Library open. The ballot language means that the library will be asking for a new millage of .6 mills or 60 cents on every $1,000 your home is taxed.

One of the Dorr Township Library’s primary funding is by a voter-passed millage, so please join us at 5 Lakes brewing Co. & go vote on March 10th to help keep the library open for many more years to come!
