Blood Bash 2022

Blood Bash 2022 is officially scheduled for Saturday, February 12th, 2022! This is the day before Super Bowl Sunday, but you won’t have to wait until the day of the big game to see some amazing entertainment that weekend – as we are once again offering up TWO days of amazing independent horror shorts and bonus movies!
With Blood Bash 2021 being scratched due to COVID, 2022’s edition will contain an entire year of extra eligible films – – – so we’re hoping to show even more movies than ever before!

HORROR FILM FESTIVAL:
There will once again be an International Horror Film Festival and we will be awarding awards for:
Best In Show (Short)
Favorite Male Performance
Favorite Female Performance
and maybe a few new awards as well?
CARNIVAL GAMES:
The carnival games will be returning! That’s right, kids! You will once again be able to play some of your favorite and most twisted carnival games at Blood Bash, and as always they will be free! We will see the return of the games from 2020/2019 and maybe even have some new games to play!
COSPLAY AND SCREAM QUEEN CONTESTS:
Rumor has it that these will be moved up and take place during the regular convention hours in an effort to get the most cosplayers possible to be in them! 2020 saw a TON of amazing cosplays that weren’t around for the actual contest and we’re taking that issue head on in 2022!
HORROR VIDEO GAME AND TABLETOP GAMES:
You know these will be back! Play some tabletop games, win tickets! Beat certain challenges on games like Castlevania or Zombies Ate My Neighbors – win tickets!

Midland Mall Comic Con Strikes Back

Come out to the Midland Mall Comic Con. Covid crushed our sequel last year from our AWESOME 2020 SHOW, but WE ARE STRIKING BACK IN 2022.
MARCH 5, 10 TO 6pm
(6 TO 8pm) is vendor time to walk around check other vendors, or stay at your booth until the mall closes at 😎
MARCH 6, 11 TO 5pm.
There is no charge for this show. We make it family affordable. We kindly ask you share some of your normal admission fee, to the Finest, a GI Joe costume team that comes out and brings props and characters for you to page with, as they raise money for service animals for Veterans.. As I am a retired Veteran, that is special to me. Also please share with the League of Enchantment, a group of heroes who go to hospitals to visit sick kids and send care packages to kids in need.
ALSO SHARE WITH THE AWESOME VENDORS…. WHO MAKE THESE SHOWS AMAZING…
Cosplay contest both days.
Prizes Awarded by age group
10 and under, 11 to 17, 18 and up.
Tons of artists, authors, toys, props, comics, superheroes, GI Joe characters and props to pose in, star wars characters, Monsters INC, A HUGE GRIMLOCK, and more running around.. D&D matches..
Nerf rifle range ran by Spartan, not a stormtrooper. haha
Become a superhero station, make your own cape and mask, and test your skills by Creations by Generations. As well as some cool items to buy.
Superhero/Supervillian treats for sale from Aunt Brittneys.
Astro snacks will be there.
Midland Recyclers will be there making crafts with the kids

Wicked Bizarre Mi 2022

Wicked Bizarre is one of the largest Halloween/oddities shows in Michigan. Admission is free to everyone and there is something spooky around every corner. We have over 100 vendors in a wide variety of Fall. Halloween and Oddity themed arts, crafts, props, costumes and more.we will have several food trucks for some delicious treats. Enter our charity raffle to win some fabulous prizes as well as supporting our 2 local charities, the Humane Society of Monroe County & Feeding Detroit and Downriver. There is truly something for everyone at this terrifically spooky event.

February Steampunk Meetup at FBC

It is time once again to get together for some Steampunk fun at the Farmington Brewing Company for an afternoon of good friends, good food, and good libations, all with a Steampunk twist. It has been 2 years since we were able to get together at an indoor setting. We miss getting together, and we hope to see many of you there.
As always Steampunk garb is suggested but never required. Please note that it will be on a Sunday afternoon this month.
