ALL AGES WELCOME! Leashed Pets Allowed!
Castle turrets and cobblestone paths will be the backdrop for a wide range of entertainment as you stroll through this outdoor medieval adventure! Be entertained by musicians, jesters, magicians, belly dancers, the queen and her royal court, medieval knights in combat, and more – not to mention indoor bathrooms and air-conditioned buildings!

See demonstrations of glassblowing, blacksmithing, and gourd art! Bow to Her Royal Majesty, Mary, Queen of Scots and mingle with the Royal Court! Try your hand at archery and duel your own family with foam swords – or have them throw in jail by the Canterbury Village Constabulary!
Shop costuming, fine jewelry, chain mail creations, magical crystals, shining crowns, capes and cloaks, swords and shields, and all sorts of other medieval wares at the vendor tents and village stores!
KIDS – pick up a quest list from the Quest Master to enhance your experience! You can even by knighted by the Royal Court, or sit a spell with the Vikings to hear tales from Norse mythology!
There will be plenty of activities for the entire family! Tired? Sit and enjoy a cold beer or mead on the C-Pub patio – or grab a turkey leg! After all, no faire is complete without one!

Knights in shining armor jousting on their great steeds; the clash and clang of swords in combat demonstrations; the cheery sound of minstrels singing and instruments being strummed; gasps and laughs and cheers from the crowd as performers dare to eat fire, dance on stage, and play out hilarious shows.

Canterbury Village Medieval Faire – Royal Feast June 9th
Step into a time gone by and experience a true medieval feast set in the opulence of Canterbury Castle in Lake Orion, MI – where all proceeds will go to the Jay Towers Charity – Jay’s Juniors!
Guests will begin arriving at 6:30 PM to start an evening of feasting and festivities. The banquet will commence at 7:15 where you, our honored guest, will be served a delicious five course feast that is truly fit for Royalty.
Throughout the evening you will experience a variety of entertainment from the Royal Court and Mary Queen of Scots with court jesters, pipers, minstrels, troubadours, and a cast of characters that will fill the court with song and merriment! After your sumptuous repast you can enter into the Royal Costume contest where one lucky courtier has the opportunity to win $100 for the best costume after which one can trip it as ye go, on the light fantastic toe to the music from the Royal DJ. Truly a remarkable and memorable evening all set in the Canterbury Castle in the King Richard Ballroom!

Castle’s turrets and ramparts will be the backdrop for a wide range of entertainment as you stroll through this outdoor Medieval adventure at Canterbury Village. Be entertained by ogres, musicians, jesters, magicians, fire breathers, mad Queens, over 30 entertainers and more, all set to the backdrop of a real Castle!
Knights in shining armor jousting on their great steeds will provide all the excitement of a medieval tournament as two Knights in full armor charge each other with levelled lances, mounted on their mighty steeds, each attempting to unhorse the other! That is just the beginning of the entertainment, there will be plenty of activities for the entire family, demonstrations of actual medieval combat, along with many other entertainers. Afterwards sit and enjoy a cold drink or a pint of ale or mead and feast on a Turkey Leg, at the C-Pub Bar & Grill
