Laker Con

FREE and open the public!
Laker Con is a three-day comics convention held at the Mary Idema Pew Library at GVSU to celebrate comics literacy and the scholarly merits of sequential storytelling (comics books, graphic novels, animation, etc.) as well as exalting the entertainment arts.
Friday (9/29) from 11 am – 6 pm
Saturday (9/30) from 10 am – 6 pm
Sunday (10/1) from 10 am – 2 pm

Nerd Sale II: The Return

Join us for our fall Nerd Sale, we will be setting up in the parking lot of Wally’s Castle in Wyoming. There will be more new vendors as well as past vendors. Be sure to check out Wally’s Castle as well to find more amazing treasures!
Our vendors will have tons of pop culture, comics, toys, collectibles, board games, books, movies and more!

Shoufu-Con

Shoufu-Con is a new convention taking place in the heart of Michigan, Lansing! Our goal is to host guests, stores, games, cards, panels, cosplays, and most importantly, YOU: Our convention friends and ticket holders!

After visiting other cons, we joked about opening our own convention, memed about filling out paperwork, laughed at the idea of finding a lawyer, teased as we raised funds, and now here we are! Our little meme a reality!

We’re a small group of nerd friends who love everything you’d like to see at a convention, and since we all have a specialty, we offer you a new place to be yourself.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Live in Concert

Go back to where it all began with this concert event! Featuring a soundtrack that blends symphonic orchestral music with hip-hop, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Live in Concert pairs a screening of the Academy Award®-winning animated film with live musicians and turntables featuring a DJ scratcher live on stage. Emmy® winner Daniel Pemberton composed a sprawling score of boundary-pushing original music that is complimented with song contributions by Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Jaden Smith, and Nicki Minaj. The hip-hop based score results in a sonic universe that is woven throughout the fabric of the film, supporting its themes of resilience and universal heroism.

BAY-CON Presents: Pop-Culture Show!

BAY-CON Presents the Bay College Pop-Culture Show! This event features SO MANY vendor tables of pop-culture goodness! Looking for vinyl records? We’ve got ’em! Want to find a fun, retro game? Check us out! Seeking a special retro toy from your childhood? Come and get it! Want to support a local artist in their amazing pop-culture themed art? This is the place!
This event is open to the public, and is a fun way of adding to your collection or finding that special gift for the upcoming holiday season. Different from BAY-CON, this event will only feature vended pop-culture goods.
The Pop-Culture Show is a fundraiser for BAY-CON, with all vendor fees and public donations going to put on the epic RETURN OF THE BAY-CON on April 20!
The Pop-Culture show will feature so many vendors, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Our House Games Mini RPG Con
24+ Hour Mini Convention – $5 to $10 per game played
NOTE: TO SEE THE EVENTS AND BUY A TICKET click on the Ticket link on our Facebook event page – reserve your spot before it fills up!!!
In celebration of Free RPG Day 2023 we will be hosting a mini convention that will start on Friday at 6 pm and run through Saturday at 10 pm. If we get enough interest we will stay open and play throughout the night. If not, we will close at 2 am and re-open at 10 am. ALL PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE SOMETHING FREE FOR PLAYING!
Select “Tickets” to see more about games and times but some of the games featured are: Star Trek, Star Wars, D&D 5E, Power Rangers, Alien RPG, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Pathfinder Society, Hunter (White Wolf), and more to come. If you don’t see the event please check back Monday afternoon.
