Our 5th Annual Detroit Bookfest will feature vendors selling BOOKS (ie: used, rare, antiquarian, unusual, ephemera, authors, etc).

They will also be selling vinyl records, comic books, creative arts, vintage board games and more!

Entry is FREE!

Food, beer & DJ Seven Whales will be bringing the funk music.

We will have a limited # of vendors. Our # 1 priority is health, safety, community wellness. Safety protocols and guidelines will be followed. There will be several hand sanitizer stations and the restrooms will be regularly deep cleaned.

Dear Ambercon US community: we need to hold Ambercon US as a virtual con again. The con will be held April 7-10, 2022, as previously scheduled, but VIRTUALLY. There may be some changes in slot start and end times from last year, but as before, we will maintain all slots in order to enable continuing games to run.

New for 2022! The village shall be pillaged by Celts and Vikings! Come enjoy the delights of the Emerald Isle, the Scottish Highlands, and the North Sea! Whether you be a leprechaun or a viking, you’ll be welcome in the Enchanted Forest. Come join our story on July 16th & 17th, 2022 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, rain or shine.
We will be having a Best Beard contest and a Celtic/Viking-themed scavenger hunt for the children.

Pirates and Belly Dancers, two of the most popular groups at a renaissance festival, are gathered together for our final weekend of the season. Whether you sail on salt water or fresh, you’re welcome to berth in our village and tavern.
We will be having a Belly Dance contest, be sure to cheer for your favorite dancer!
Young scallywags are invited to get their own treasure map and participate in a scavenger hunt for buried treasure.
