The Marine City Con LLC. gathers creators, writers and artists from all over the country and is an event that is truly something for all fans of comics and pop culture!

Halfway To Halloween Vendor & Craft Show on Saturday May 21st from 9am to 4pm. This is an outdoor/indoor event. If you are in the market for costumes, props, decorations, haunt related, horror related, oddities related and one of kind custom pieces, this is the right place for you. Up to 96 vendors and admission is free. Will be following CDC/State guidelines.

Michigan Renaissance Festival 2022

Take a time-travel adventure into the 16th century at the annual Michigan Renaissance Festival! Join our Queen Elizabeth in a jubilee! Inside our turreted gates, visitors enjoy the sights and sounds of a 17-acre village, complete with building reproductions of Renaissance shops, taverns and a magnificent castle. Continuous entertainment takes place on the streets and on 17 themed stages; featuring full-contact armored jousting, comedy and theater shows, music, games, people-powered rides and so much more! Fabulous food and more than 300 artisans displaying their gallery-quality works complete the experience!

Michigan Medieval Faire Stroll 2022 Weekend 2

Canterbury Village is a perfect setting for a Medieval Times event. Stroll through this outdoor adventure and experience Castle’s turrets and ramparts, Knights in shining armor jousting on their mighty steeds. There will be Musicians, Minstrels, Jesters, Fire Breathers and much more entertainment for the entire family, all set with a backdrop of a Medieval Castle!.

Enjoy an ice-cold drink, a pint of ale or mead, and a bite to eat, like a Turkey Leg, at the Clansman Gaelic Pub. Sounds all too good to be true. But not!!! This event will be memorable in more ways than one can imagine!

Royal Stagg Renaissance Faire 2022

We have a dream of a castle in the woods, surrounded by a small village of shops, where magic is felt, memories are made and fairy tales can come true.

Our dream is about making a permanent site for the friends we have met the ‘rennies’ of south west Michigan and beyond. These kind and caring folks, who took us in and accepted us without judgement, have become like family and deserve an escape that we can all share with the public

And that is what all historical re-enactors love about fairs: the escape from daily life, the magic of bringing another time period to life, and sharing it with our community.

This would become a permanent site to hold a renaissance faire, that doesn’t require a 4+ hour drive, and a year’s worth of savings to attend.

But more than just one faire, we want to provide a magical place for weddings, complete with accommodations for the bridal party to overnight in the castle suites. An event hall that looks like a picture of Valhalla, how fun would a graduation or birthday party be at Arthur’s round table?

Knights and Nobles and Rogues, or Kanar, is one of the games from Kanar Gaming Enterprises, Inc. We are one of the longest running games in the state of Michigan with over 30 years of role playing, fighting and magic under our belts. Our lands, 40 acres in Milan, Michigan, welcome many players once a month to get together and traverse the forest and swamp in search of adventure, money, mayhem or maybe a bit of it all.
