Fandom Fest is a collaboratively run popular culture convention hosted by 8 libraries from Southwest Michigan.
Our free-entry event has vendors, Mini Hobby area, tabletop gaming, video game contest, and cosplay contest.
It invites people who would not otherwise be able to attend a con-type event to come together and celebrate their favorite aspects of popular culture.

We’re celebrating National Pokémon Day with a fun-filled weekend in Canterbury Village!
-For every $5 spent at village stores, get a Pokémon CARD as a free gift with your purchase – all cards are official and drawn randomly from a mix!
-For Pokémon GO players – Canterbury Village is home to 2 gyms and 9 stops within the game, plus we’ll be dropping lures throughout the weekend!
-We will designate an indoor space available for card trading (note: this is simply a space provided for fan interaction; it will not be supervised or assisted by Canterbury staff)
-Kids can find the hidden Pokémon in each shop for a little extra fun!

We are extremely excited to announce the 2024 Otaku Detroit Summer Bash! It will be held July 13-14th, 2024 at the Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel. It will be 2 days of jammed packed fun including gaming, panels, Saturday night Rave, Flea Market, Cosplay Masquerade and much more!

Nerdfest was started over a decade ago as an excuse to spend an entire weekend gaming with friends.
As our friends have grown in number the dream to make it a full-blown convention was finally realized.
2023 was our very first official Nerdfest convention and it was an incredible weekend. We are very excited to once again share the Nerdfest experience with all of you!
Nerdfest is first and foremost a players’ convention! Most of the space will be dedicated to open gaming, but we will have a few tables that will be running events along with a handful of local vendors. We have a lot of fun things planned and can’t wait to see all of you in attendance playing games and having fun!
A few highlights:
-Game Library provided by The Upkeep Games
-Many events planned including: Intro to Mini Painting, D&D One Shot and Tumblin’ Dice Tournament (once registered you’ll have access to sign up for events!)
-Giveaways/Prizes/Raffles throughout the convention

Ambercon is a broad-spectrum diceless gaming and indie gaming convention! We’ve got superheroes, musketeers, characters from various fictional settings we won’t name here due to fear of lawsuits, SOE operatives, cowboys, and, of course, Amber-based games… you name it, we’ll game it!
