Pros
Held in one central location. Everything was easy to find.
Very colorful program booklet was very informative with the who, what, where, and when of all the events, panels, and guests.
Nice gaming area that featured retro to current video game consoles and personal computers. At each station, there was a printed list of the games per gaming station.
There was a metal typer arcade machine that would punch letters and numbers into an inserted token. Each message was custom-made because you were inputting the message yourself. Honestly, this was really cool to see.
A variety of panels that are not your typical celebrity Q&A panels. For example, “Child Labor Law Violations In Anime” and “Video Games: Are They OSHA Compliant” stood out to me. I appreciate when cons feature unique panel topics/subjects.

I was a little confused by the voice actor layout, initially. As soon as you walked into the exhibit hall, Emi Lo was prominently in the front. To her left and behind her, vendor tables were present. I thought that John Swasey must’ve canceled since I didn’t see him. Fortunately, after walking around the corner (and diagonally behind Emi Lo), I found his table. While he wasn’t necessarily hidden, he wasn’t visibly present right away, either. I’m used to seeing guests side by side in a row at events.
Do I recommend attending the event?
Yes. I would love to see this event continue to grow.
