Webcomicon is focused on highlighting popular cartoonists from the Web! Meet the talent behind your favorite online humor and slice of life comics!

Webcomicon 2024 kicks off with a ridiculous guest list including some of the most popular cartoonists from the web in downtown Ferndale, Michigan. A rare opportunity to meet some of the most popular cartoonists on the Internet in one place, boasting 25+ million fans on social media between them, in real life! Take a selfie (just ask first!), and buy signed books, merchandise, and maybe even some original art!
Admission includes access to the event, panels and Q&As with artists, Live draw battles, and Kids’ drawing workshops (Sunday only)!

Laker Con

FREE and open the public!
Laker Con is a three-day comics convention held at the Mary Idema Pew Library at GVSU to celebrate comics literacy and the scholarly merits of sequential storytelling (comics books, graphic novels, animation, etc.) as well as exalting the entertainment arts.
Friday (9/29) from 11 am – 6 pm
Saturday (9/30) from 10 am – 6 pm
Sunday (10/1) from 10 am – 2 pm

This event is FREE and OPEN to current students, alumni as well as the public at large.
Masks are encouraged, but not required.
