This week’s track is from Ben Briggs. It is about the Docks of the Dire kind.

Ben Briggs is a musician and DJ. I was first introduced to his music at Shuto Con 2017, where he performed at the rave. After talking with him, I purchased “The Briggs Effect 2” CD because it had a Cowboy Bebop remix. Since we are on the subject of that album, I would like to talk about the first track. “Can The Eel Come Out To Play” is a chill remix of the Jolly Roger Bay/Dire, Dire Docks theme from Super Mario 64. The use of gentle rolling waves as the song begins is wonderful. To me, this song elicits feelings of calmness and metaphorical drifting amongst the waves. This is a song that I visit often.
