This week’s track is from a Halloween Inspired RPG.

Genre: Honestly, I have no idea. It gives me a 1950s to 60s vibe.

Costume Quest is a charming turn based RPG that takes place during Halloween. Double Fine did a wonderful job invoking the feeling of trick-or-treating in a neighborhood. Sure, my Halloweens were not humorously whimsical nor did they involve battling monsters. However, this game reminds me of fun times in my life. This particular track plays during the Mall level of the game. I know it sounds weird to say but the main keyboard motif has a nasally feel to it. The background vocals give a haunting otherworldly vibe, as well. Honestly, I could see this song as a background to a Halloween themed novelty song during the 50s or 60s. Check it out.
