The opening piano chords conjures up nostalgic thoughts of when Adult Swim began, back in 2001. This song welcomed me to the new programming block when I tuned in to see what it was all about. Adult Swim introduced me to two shows, that I adore, Home Movies and Cowboy Bebop. As the years went on, Adult Swim would expose me to a plethora of enjoyable shows such as: Sealab 2021, The Boondocks, Metalocalypse, Robot Chicken, and Harvey Birdman. I may not have the time nor the cable connection to check out Adult Swim now, but I’m thankful for the entertainment it has given me over the years. Since Adult Swim introduced me to a lot of cool things, I’m hoping that MI Mix Tape will introduce you to a few cool things. I can’t imagine a better song to kick off this new series.
