December Mixtape Theme: Black Metal VGM Covers

This week’s track is from Boroda-kun. It is about a Killer of Vampires.

Song: Castlevania
Genre: Black Metal

Boroda-kun (or Beard-kun) is based out of Eastern Europe. His Castlevania cover is excellent. This song revolves around the melody lines of Vampire Killer. He took the melody lines and turned them into black metal riffs with some ornamentation. The song matches the dark aesthetic of Castlevania games. I know that black metal covers of VGM songs are niche, in and of itself but I’m shocked that there aren’t more Castlevania covers. I hope he does more black metal covers of VGM songs.
