My Vacation at MAGFest 2018

For the first time ever, I travelled out of state to go to a convention. What convention, you ask? MAGFest, which is short for Music and Gaming, is held in Maryland. Since I was on vacation, I went to fully enjoy what the event had to offer. This is more of a story instead of a full on review. Sure, there are some review aspects here but it’s still a story. Did MAGFest live up to be what it was hyped out to be or did it suck? Read on to find out.

2016 Year in Review Summer Part 2 (Yes, I know its 2017)

These Year in Reviews are not, what I call, official “reviews”. Like last year, they will be a series of musings, learned lessons and stories of what I experienced through out the year. GR8bit Live IV! Review

GR8bit Live is an annual Video Game Music (VGM) concert which serves as a fundraiser to purchase board game and video game equipment for the local children’s hospital. All of the proceeds from the event went towards the hospital. For the first two years, the event was held at the Pyramid Scheme in Grand Rapids. Last year, a convention was centered around the concert and held at DeVos Hall. GR8bit Live IV returned back to being a concert for this year. This time around, it was a 2 day concert event with activities attached.
