NVGO 3 – The Northview Video Game Olympics 2023

NVGO, (Northview Video Game Olympics), is a fundraiser for the Northview Band Boosters. The event will consist of a variety of tournaments for different video games.

  • Participants are allowed to enter up to two different tournaments.
  • Each participant is guraranteed at least two matches AND an NVGO shirt. Once registered, you will receive an email with a survey to indicate shirt size. If you neglect to do this or you will not receive a shirt.
  • The cost per person is $15meaning Rocket League 2v2 is $30 per team, Overwatch 3v3 is $45 per team, and Fortnite 2v2 is $30 per team.
  • There are no hidden processing fees, so the price you see is the price you pay.

The event will take place all day on Saturday, June 17 in the Northview High School, Max Colley Jr. Performing Arts Center, with finals for each tournament projected on the big screen for the audience to see, (due to technical issues, the 2v2 and 3v3 tournaments may or may or may not be projected on the big screen). Admission for audience members is free. Food and beverage will be available for purchase.

We ask that all participants bring their own controller for games on Switch, (Smash and Mario Kart). A controller will be provided for the Tecmo Super Bowl tournament.

Fortnite, Rocket League, and Overwatch will have a selection of consoles available for use, however, most players will likely want to bring in their own setups for these games. 1st – 3rd place finishers will be honored in a medal ceremony at the end of their tournament. All participants will receive an official NVGO shirt.
