Buccaneer Bash 2017 Mini Review

The Buccaneer Bash was a pirate themed festival held in Augusta, Michigan at the Olde World Village. Musical entertainment was provided by Bell Book and Canto, and Pirates and Wenches. I caught the pirate themed set of Bell, Book and Canto. No surprise that it was another enjoyable performance by the talented ladies. Other forms of entertainment were provided by the Steel Lotus  dance troupe, comedy troupe Just Happy to Be Here, Corvus Cohort and Brethren of the Great Lakes. I was able to catch the black powder gun show by the Brethren of the Great Lakes. Long story short, they blew up a few things with black powder guns and a canon. It was very entertaining and I would recommend catching their show. My only complaint about the event centers around the mosquito problem at the Village. Suffice to say, they escaped with a bit of my blood since they were numerous in force. If you are in the mood for pirate themed fun, you can’t go wrong with checking out the Buccaneer Bash.
