Downtown Lansing Zombie Walk 2014
October 11th from 11am to 1pm.

Is there a better way to get prepared for Halloween and helping people than a zombie walk? I can’t really think of any. This annual event is entering year five. There are no registration fees. Donations of money will help the Lansing City Parks and Recreation Youth Scholarships. Donations of food will help Greater Lansing Food Bank. Mark this on your calendar.

Flint Zombie Walk 2015

Welcome to the 7th annual Flint Zombie Walk sponsored by Flint City Theatre! Flint Zombie Walk 2015 welcomes the undead to the streets on Flint! Join the event and partake in the zombie walk, a full day of entertainment, horror vendors and horror celebrities! Top it all off with giving to charity and you can’t lose!
This even it is pay-what-you-can.
Suggestion: $10

Providing Flint with a fun, unique undead experience once a year and helping out a great cause! This year all funds go to The Foster Closet of Michigan, providing necessary materials to kids going through the foster care system.

6th Annual Downtown Lansing Zombie Walk

OPENING LANSING’S “HOW-TO HALLOWEEN” EVENT! The zombie apocalypse is infecting Lansing! With Halloween right around the corner, we invite you to Lansing’s How-To Halloween Event. This family-friendly festival celebrates the do-it-yourself spirit of the holiday in a fun and safe environment. Learn how it’s done with tips on how to make your own ghoulish props, costumes, baked-goods, and even your own zombie make-up. Cost for How-To Halloween is $6 at the door starting at 11am. Join us at 11:00 a.m., for an exclusive zombie make-up tutorial taught by experienced zombies. If you’re already an expert come zombie-fied and ready to invade at high noon in the Lansing Center Lobby. Walk downtown ending at the capital (free to walk), then return to the Lansing Center for the How-To Halloween Zombie Competition (entry fee required). Pre-Registration required for the make-up tutorial (entry to How-To Halloween included for all registered). All proceeds from the make-up tutorial and t-shirt sales go to the Lansing Parks and Recreation Youth Scholarship Fund. We will also be accepting food donations for the Greater Lansing Food Bank.

Motor City Steam Con Presents the Mechanized Zombie Dance!

It is the most wonderful time of the year! Halloween is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate it then with a steamy dance. So come dressed like a steampunk zombie. There will be a costume contest with prizes, so bring it on!

Monster Bash

12 Gauge Gore Presents: Monster Bash
We will be screening George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead, followed by a special screening of the silent classic Nosferatu with Bryan Douglas and Brandon McCoy performing Heavy Electronic music Live on Drum Machines, 303’s, Synths and Effects. All Mixed live. During intermission we will be holding a costume contest with prizes provided by such killer vendors as: Criminal Creativity, Scream Prints, Wicked Chef Creations, Wicked Illustrations and 12 Gauge Gore. Be sure to stop by and check out all they have to offer. Ticket price includes pop and popcorn for the movies, but additional dinner options will be available for purchase from The D’Mar Center. There will also be a cash bar so the event is 21 and up. DJs Bryan Douglas and Brandon McCoy will keep the party going until 1:00 AM with heavy industrial and hard style DJ sets.

It’s time for another Capitol Steam bimonthly salon and you’re invited to Van Helsteam’s Monster Hunter Bash, “Because Halloween ends to early!”
Yes folks, this is the Halloween costume party that you’ve all been waiting for. Enjoy a spooky Autumn evening with monster hunters and the hunted!Van Helsteam will be playing a wide variety of music including your favorite steampunk bands. Don’t forget to mingle with our special guests, Apparition Apprehenders (The Steampunk Ghost Busters). Also, Capitol Steam will be sponsoring a zombie booth. So come out and get zombified free of charge.
This is a costume party, so there’s no parameters on costuming. Allow your steampunk imagination to soar!
