The Otaku Detroit Summer Bash is a convention put on by the owners of Otaku Detroit. The Summer Bash will include fun events such as panels, anime karaoke, and gaming provided by Grand Finals Gaming. We will also have a cosplay contest where the winner will win $200 cash! Cosplay is heavily encouraged! We will have a bunch of local artists and vendors selling their items at the event as well.

Halloween Robot Parade & Global Robotics Arts Festival 2014
October 25, 2014 9am-4pm
For those who are into robotics, this will pique your interests. Macomb Community College with cooperation with Lawrence Technological University will host this RoboFest event. The parade will consist of robotic floats. Expect at least a ghost or a ghoul in the parade since it will be close to Halloween. Afterwards, the Global Robotics Arts Festival takes place. Robots will be in costume and dance. Robots will paint. There will be robotic music as well. The best thing about these robotic displays: it’s student driven from many age and class levels. Mark this on your calendars.
