Magical Realm Fantasy Faire 2019

The Magical Realm was just bursting at the seams with fun and laughter, cheers and enjoyment. So much so, that we had tons of it left over. So, the fairies gathered it up to store, and begged us to have at least one more! We have searched our calendars, sourced our dates, and decided to grant the wish of all our fairies and friends who had such an amazing time! We in the Magical Realm are proud to say that we will be hosting another year of faire and festivities. So, we are rounding up our entertainers, merchants, vikings, pirates and more to hoist their flags, raise their swords, and march into another year! We are pleased to invite one and all to come and visit the Magical Realm this year!”

Steampunk Invasion of the Detroit Zoo 2018

The Steampunks will invade the Detroit Zoo again this October. Hopefully the weather will cooperate with lovely fall temperatures. So much better for our wonderful outfits. And the animals should be more active too. Feel free to join us on this adventure. As always, costumes admired, but not required.

We plan to meet-up at the Rackham Fountain near the front of the zoo at 1pm. Most likely photos will occur there (especially if someone good with a camera shows up).

Otherwise, people will probably just wander around looking at the various animals and exhibits, chancing upon each other, exchanging pleasantries, commenting on others fine zoo/safari/whatever ensembles.
