Robotfest 2024

Robofest is a festival of competitions and events with autonomous robots that encourages students to have fun while learning principles of physical science, computer science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Students design, construct, and program the robots. Any robotics kits are allowed in the construction of robots.

Teams compete in the junior (grades 5-8), senior (grades 9-12), and college divisions. For RoboParade junior includes 4th grade. Student teams, composed of up to five members each, can participate in a variety of events:

Exhibition – Each team has complete freedom to show off any creative computer programmed robotics R&D project.
Vision Centric Challenge – Advanced category for Sr. high school and college students.
Bottlesumo – Be the first robot to push intentionally a bottle off the table OR be the last robot remaining on the table. (Level: beginners)

Halloween Robot Parade & Global Robotics Arts Festival 2014

Halloween Robot Parade & Global Robotics Arts Festival 2014
October 25, 2014 9am-4pm

For those who are into robotics, this will pique your interests. Macomb Community College with cooperation with Lawrence Technological University will host this RoboFest event. The parade will consist of robotic floats. Expect at least a ghost or a ghoul in the parade since it will be close to Halloween. Afterwards, the Global Robotics Arts Festival takes place. Robots will be in costume and dance. Robots will paint. There will be robotic music as well. The best thing about these robotic displays: it’s student driven from many age and class levels. Mark this on your calendars.
