5th Annual Superhero Virtual 5K Fun Run & Walk

Did you know that April is nationally recognized as Child Abuse Prevention Month? Join Midland county’s Safe and Sound Child Advocacy Center at our 5th Annual Superhero 5K Virtual Fun Run & Walk! Become a Safe and Sound Superhero and #BeTheOne. We believe through the power of one person, one community, one dollar, one action, Midland residents can help to protect children from abuse and neglect and strengthen families right here in Midland county. Runner’s will receive #BeTheOne t-shirts and bracelets for participating. Runner goodies will be available/delivered most likely AFTER April due to CO-VID 19. Preventing child abuse before it occurs is the responsible way to manage our society’s future #CAPmonth

Because every child deserves a hero, and to feel SAFE and SOUND.

Autumn Tri-Cities Furmeet!

There’s getting to be a chill in the air, the trees are starting to show their colors, and orange gourds are appearing on porches . . . that means it’s time for our Autumn Furmeet!

All are welcome to come join in a spooky gathering. There is no charge to attend, but please consider donating so we can keep hosting meets, and bring either supplies or treats. Fursuits are welcome and encouraged! The park is quite scenic, and with the trees changing, it will make for a good setting for fursuit photos.

We will be having a campfire, apple cider, hot chocolate, and pizza for dinner!

One Man Star Wars Trilogy March 18th

From the producer that brought you Potted Potter, Charles Ross will stun you with his One-Man Star Wars Trilogy.
Much of Ross’ childhood was spent in a galaxy far, far away, watching Star Wars videos over – and over – and over again. The result of this misspent youth is his hysterical One-Man Star Wars™ Trilogy, where he single-handedly plays all the characters, sings the music, flies the ships, fights the battles and condenses the plots into one hilarious show!
If you’ve already seen the movies, read the books and named your first-born Skywalker, Ross’ zany take on Star Wars is right up your alley and sure to leave a lasting impression. Suitable for Star Wars fans from ages 6 to Yoda!
