A Festival of Oddities 2020

Scream Queen Productions and The Courthouse Square Association present: A FESTIVAL OF ODDITIES! This event will be a day-long celebration of all things weird and macabre in Michigan. The festival will run from 11am-7pm.

Admission to the grounds is free for all ages. On the lawn, you’ll find the majority of our vendors, food trucks, and special attractions. Shop with makers of creepy wares from across the state. Get your photo taken with the Lansing Ghostbusters and Ecto-1. Play vintage carnival games and stop by the kitten tent.

Inside the museum, you’ll find our Living Library, the Scream Queen Boutique, oddities from around the globe, special guests, and much more.

Following the festival, there will be a paranormal investigation of the Old Eaton County Courthouse from 8pm-10pm, hosted by Portal Paranormal Society.

We are the weirdos, mister! And now it’s time to show the world!

The Monster Marketplace 2020

Join the Flint Horror Collective for a day of freaky fun for the whole family.

The Monster Marketplace will have celebrity guests, vendors of the weird and wonderful, short films to tingle the spine, and a costume contests to set your nightmares afire.

FREE PARKING on site in the ramp.

FREE After Party – 21+ only – at Churchill’s Food & Spirits.

This is a one day celebration of all things horror and Halloween. A day to let the little monsters roam with our inner monsters and a chance to meet fellow fans and to find that perfect art piece or collectible you’ve been desperate to have.

We’ll have an Adult and Children’s costume contest in the later afternoon so come as your favorite monster, creature, or whatever your heart desires to win some amazing prizes.

We have so much fun planned it’d take too large of a headstone to put it all down but trust us when we say that this will be the most fun you’ll have, above or below ground.

The Monster Marketplace is only FIVE DOLLARS and we hope to see you all there.

Motor City Nightmares Horror Expo & Film Festival 2020

Motor City Nightmares presents Michigan’s premiere Horror Convention based out of Novi, Michigan! Fans will be able to meet some of the biggest icons in horror history, while shopping around for some of the newest or rarest classic horror toys, t-shirts, posters, displays, dvds, masks and other assorted goodies. Film Festival Movie premieres and screenings will be included with every show, as well as special celebrity panels, and so much more.

Cadillac Pop Culture Convention 2020

Cadillac Pop Culture Con will be a fun filled event. Highlighting all forms of Popular culture from comic book, Sci-Fi, Horror, and so much more. There will be gaming too. Look out for Magic the Gathering, Warhammer 40k, Dungeons and Dragons, Cards against humanity, Ultimate Werewolf, etc etc.

April Ghoul’s Day 2020

Welcome friends to April Ghoul’s Day, the Flint Horror Collective’s celebration of horror and its authors.
Join us as we welcome writers from around Mid-Michigan to talk about their books and writing projects and to sell you their wares.

This is a celebration not only of the written word but of storytelling in general and as such we’ll be presenting our Two Sentence Story Contest, which will welcome participants to pen their own original two sentence story to read out to the public for a chance at glory and prizes.

This is an ALL AGES event and will be a wonderful way to welcome horror back to town after a long, cold winter.

Event is FREE to attend.
