Laker Con

FREE and open the public!
Laker Con is a three-day comics convention held at the Mary Idema Pew Library at GVSU to celebrate comics literacy and the scholarly merits of sequential storytelling (comics books, graphic novels, animation, etc.) as well as exalting the entertainment arts.
Friday (9/29) from 11 am – 6 pm
Saturday (9/30) from 10 am – 6 pm
Sunday (10/1) from 10 am – 2 pm

This event is FREE and OPEN to current students, alumni as well as the public at large.
Masks are encouraged, but not required.

Kristie “Karmada” Good is a notable cosplayer in the Michigan scene. She’s been making costumes since 2001. She recently wrote a book on how to create your own costumes called Epic Cosplay Costumes.
