Heroes Helping Heroes Expo 2.0 is a Micro Convention to help raise funds for Local Veteran organizations and Great Lakes Burn Camp.
We are a Non-Profit event and a Family friendly event.
We will have Vendors, Artists, Cosplay guests.
We are planning on our Pop Culture Car Show again this year.
There will be an Adult and Kids Costume Contest.

One of the Flint areas favorite family fun events is back! We have an interesting course, a great venue, and the event will be bigger and better than ever! Every finisher will receive a custom finishers medal. The 5K Run and 5K Walk are timed events with age-group awards. The family friendly 1K Family Fun Run will remain a non-competitive event. The Flint Superhero Run promises to provide fun for the entire family.
All proceeds will benefit the Voices for Children Advocacy Center, which is dedicated to serving the child victims and families of child abuse in Genesee County and enhancing the lives of all children through treatment, education and by increasing community awareness
We encourage you to dress as your favorite superhero. Dress up or not, we look forward to seeing you there.
Did you know that April is nationally recognized as Child Abuse Prevention Month? Join Midland county’s Safe and Sound Child Advocacy Center at our 5th Annual Superhero 5K Fun Run & Walk at Stratford Woods Park. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the race starting at 9:30 a.m on Saturday, April 25th. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Children 4 years and younger are free. Strollers, wagons, and pets are welcome. Door prizes, games, and more fun for the whole family! More details to come as the event gets closer! All money raised goes to supporting prevention efforts in Midland county.

Superhero 5K Run, Walk, or Fly! is a fun, family event for all ages and abilities!
All participants are encouraged to wear a Superhero costume!
PLEASE NOTE: There are 2 start times, one for RUNNERS (9:30 a.m.) and one for WALKERS (9:33 a.m.).

9:00 a.m. Kids’ Super Dash (not timed, all kiddos will receive a medal)
9:30 a.m. All Superhero RUNNERS take off!

The full 5K course is through the scenic St. Johns City Park–the route is a mix of groomed dirt trails and pavement.
Gamers for Giving is a competitive gaming tournament and LAN party that helps generate resources for the initiatives of Gamers Outreach. Funds raised from the event help support Gamers Outreach charity initiatives, such as building portable gaming carts for children in hospitals.
Aside from fundraising, as gamers, it’s also our focus to host a great event for our supporters. Gamers for Giving provides a welcoming, friendly environment where gamers can come together to play their favorite video games in a clean, social, and competitive atmosphere. Simply by participating, gamers are making a positive impact in people’s lives through resources generated by the event.
NVGO, (Northview Video Game Olympics), is a fundraiser for their Northview Band Boosters. The event will consist of a variety of tournaments for different video games. Participants are allowed to enter up to two different tournaments. Each entry costs $10.
The event will take place on Saturday, January 11th, with all preliminary rounds wrapping up by dinner time. The finals will take place starting at 7:00pm in the high school auditorium projected on the big screen for the audience to see. Admission for audience members is free. Winners will be honored in the medal ceremony at the end of the event.

Extra Life West Michigan is kicking off 2020 and we’re looking to celebrate with our local Extra Lifers! Hosted by the hospital and the local Extra Life leadership, this social event shares what we’ve been up to, what we have planned and how you can get more involved with the Extra Life program and do even more to help kids.
