Photos from the 4th annual Detroit Festival of Books @ Eastern Market

Our 5th Annual Detroit Bookfest will feature vendors selling BOOKS (ie: used, rare, antiquarian, unusual, ephemera, authors, etc).

They will also be selling vinyl records, comic books, creative arts, vintage board games and more!

Entry is FREE!

Food, beer & DJ Seven Whales will be bringing the funk music.

We will have a limited # of vendors. Our # 1 priority is health, safety, community wellness. Safety protocols and guidelines will be followed. There will be several hand sanitizer stations and the restrooms will be regularly deep cleaned.

This electrifying one-day event is free to attend, and all are welcome.

Are you yourselves strange and unusual? Join us for a shadowcast production of Beetlejuice just in time for spooky season. You won’t need to say his name three times because he’ll already be there!
The Goblin King Players specialize in the preservation of classic film by bringing it to life. Audiences will watch Beetlejuice on the big screen while performers expertly act out every element of the movie on stage in front of the screen with film accurate costumes, props and precision. The result of bringing the art of film and theatre together is a unique immersive 3D experience. And yes. There will be giant sandworms!
