SPACE DIVE’s first all ages event, in partnership with Vault Of Midnight comics!
Saturday May 7th is Free Comic Book Day, so swing by Vault Of Midnight Detroit for your comic fix, then bring the family next door to our wretched hive of scum and villainy.
Take a tour of the Mos Eisley Cantina, with all the sights and sounds of a galactic spaceport! Virgin cocktails, Star Wars costume contest, nerf battles, and more!
Costumes are not mandatory, but highly encouraged!
Kids enter free, adults $5

Bruce Campbell invites you to the ultimate Homecoming weekend experience in grueling horror at the Masonic Temple on Friday, June 17, Saturday, June 18, and Sunday, June 19, 2022. Come get some with the Homecoming King himself! Enjoy Watch With… live commentary movie screenings, Q&A Panels, and Evil Dead Gaming Lounge presented by Saber Interactive, Prop exhibits, Photo and Signing Ops, Scavenger Hunts, Immersive Mystery Dinner, Homecoming Dance, Surprise Special Guests and so, so much more! Start the party early with a special Evil Dead in Concert experience on Thursday, June 16th, with a reimagined score played live, featuring Joe LoDuca, the one and only composer of the Evil Dead film scores, with an exclusive Q&A after the concert. Cosplay Picnic Meet Up is back in action, but this time it will be bigger & better than last year. with more Cosplayers, more Foods, More Activities & More Entertainment for the picnic.
Saturday June 11th from 10am to 7pm at Detroit Riverfront (Same Location) & we will meet us at The Food Court inside GM Renaissance Center at 10am or 11am before 12pm. Cosplay your favorite Characters but wear something cool in the Hot Weather & bring some foods and/or get some food at The food Court (Inside or Outside).

Step into a galaxy far, far away as the Tangent Gallery again becomes an immersive recreation of the Mos Eisley Cantina!

It is a lawless time.

Crime syndicates, corporations, and bandits compete for resources –
spice, booze, hyperfuel, weapons, death sticks, harlotry and medicine.

The Empire is too incompetent to reign us in and too cruel to bother.
Corruption runs rampant, from the Senate to Imperial High Command, local checkpoints and everywhere in between.

Fascist tyranny breeds opportunity in the Outer Rim, and
greed can be a powerful ally.

While the local garrison has seized our theater,
officers can be bought and stormtroopers are outnumbered.
If the time comes, they may find it harder to hold than it was to take.

This is the underbelly, the spaceport hive where all the gangsters, thugs, trash, and scoundrels of the galaxy come to gamble, find work, and drink to oblivion when they can’t. Here you can bargain for whatever you desire, and business is booming.

Just watch your step, this place can be a little rough.
