Cosplay Picnic Meet Up is back this Summer, on Saturday, June 13th from 10am – 7pm at Detroit Riverfront.
We will meet us at the Food Court inside the GM Renaissance Center around 10am or 11am before we all go Outside at 12pm. come to dress up as your favorite Characters to Cosplay and wear something cool during the hot weather. we will have some food, outside activities, entertainment and other stuff in Detroi Riverfront. Also bring some food or buy some food at the Food Court.

Michigan Comic Convention is a comic book convention located in Detroit, Michigan, at the Cobo Center. Featured are exhibitors that cater to a wide-spectrum of interests including comic books, magazines, toys, games, Star Wars, Star Trek, anime, manga, cosplay, artwork, sketches and apparel. In addition, a roster of comic industry professionals, and comicdom-related celebrities are in attendance for attendees to meet and greet. As admission is kept reasonable for adults and FREE for children, the Michigan Comic Convention is a family-friendly convention.

The annual Autism Hero Walk hosts over 6000 attendees at the Detroit Zoo to come together in celebration of and to advocate for their loved ones affected by autism. The free event begins with an inspirational opening ceremony followed by a 1-mile walk and post-event activities, including an autism resource fair with over 50 vendors.
Detroit Festival of Books (aka: Detroit Bookfest) will take place at Eastern Market Shed 3 in Detroit. FREE entry! Bookfest has been morphing into a signature event for the region and will feature 200 vendors selling BOOKS (ie: used, rare, antiquarian, unusual, ephemera, authors). There will also be vinyl records, comic books, creative arts, vintage board games and more! Food, beer and funk music!
