WE’RE BACK FAMILY!!! JUNE 4th 2022. MOTOR CITY BLACK AGE IS LOOKING TO GET BACK ON TRACK.
The Motor City Black Age is the movement of an annual gathering of comic book creators and retailers who create and sell material that caters to readers of all ages. In addition to selling their work, they also take part in panel discussions and self-publishing workshops for aspiring artist and creators. Wow!! Now Manga is a part of this movement.

5th Annual Detroit Festival of Books (aka: Detroit Bookfest)! FREE!

Photos from the 4th annual Detroit Festival of Books @ Eastern Market

Our 5th Annual Detroit Bookfest will feature vendors selling BOOKS (ie: used, rare, antiquarian, unusual, ephemera, authors, etc).

They will also be selling vinyl records, comic books, creative arts, vintage board games and more!

Entry is FREE!

Food, beer & DJ Seven Whales will be bringing the funk music.

We will have a limited # of vendors. Our # 1 priority is health, safety, community wellness. Safety protocols and guidelines will be followed. There will be several hand sanitizer stations and the restrooms will be regularly deep cleaned.
