Our annual board game convention! If you come to one LBG event a year, this is the one you want to be at. Dozens of board game events, RPG events, vendors, *prizes*, and a Texas Hold’em event!
We’re back again for the fourth year running!
Most of you know what this is all about, but let us give you a recap for the newcomers!
We are hosting a Cosplay beach/pool-themed party with grill/picnic food, drinks, music/dance/rave parties featuring various DJs throughout the day, volleyball, photoshoots, watermelon smashing (スイカ割り) and many more WEEB activities!
BYOB for alcohol, and shouldbe kept in the shelter/picnic area.
HARD LIQUOR IS NOT PERMITTED by the Metropark.
Since there will be consumption of alcohol, 18+ is the recommended age of the party. However, it is a public park so anyone of all ages are allowed to attend.
Minor attendees should notify their parents/guardian that the environment will include alcoholic beverages present, but we do not encourage underage drinking.
Cosplay is an expensive hobby.
With all the cosplay conventions we go to, the cosplays we buy or build and buy supply/material for, can rack up 💰💰💰 quick.
So we want to hold a FREE ADMISSION event (with an exception of $10 metropark entry per vehicle) where cosplayers can still do what they love, but not worry about spending a large sum of money to attend events.
** Events such as Watermelon smashing can go on at anytime during the meet up as long as watermelons are available
** Anyone signing up from the Volleyball tournament can sign-up ahead of time so we can set up the base brackets to start off with. You can sign-up as a full-team or less, even by yourself and we can put you in a team of 5! Player sign-up is also available at the event before the tournament!
It would be so kind if any of you could bring some food/drinks to share! (We also have a PayPal set up for and will also make a tip/donation box if you’d like to help chip in instead!)

The park does not allow the beach space to be reserved. The park has many rules and regulation where many activities we would want to have are restricted only in the picnic area which includes : grilling, consumption of alcohol, music, PA system, event-like activities, etc.
Therefore the volleyball tournament, musical entertainment, cosplay contest, drinking/eating will be held at the picnic area, and guests can have photoshoots at the beach, sunbathe, or boat rental! This is an all-day event, so there are no restrictions to when you show up, unless you will be participating in the Volleyball Tournament or entering in the Cosplay Contest.
REMINDER: The beach space IS NOT RESERVED therefore the beach will have the general public there this is a warning, cosplays are very flashy so people will most likely stare at you. But fear not! Embrace your outstanding work of cosplay and let’s get some great shots on the beach scene!
