A pop culture convention who’s aim is to raise funds for make-a-wish and create happiness and smiles.
This convention was started by a few friends who love to bring smiles to kids and kids at heart through the power of cosplay. What better way to help others, especially children, by putting on a comic convention to solely benefit children going through hard times! Come and join us April 2020 for an amazing convention full of incredible guests, musical talent, comic book artists, and some of this countries best cosplayers, and help us raise funds for awesome foundations!
Penguicon is a not-for-profit, community-run convention for open source software, science fiction, music, gaming, DIY, and more. Panel topics include technology, science, eco/green, literature, costuming, food, gaming (board and video), webcomics, action/adventure, music, film, anime and an after dark event. .This is a big hang out for ALL areas of the geek/nerd community. What better way to meet people who wave the geek/nerd flag? People come to Penguicon to learn about securing their network, and also how to make their own cheese. They learn how to create chiptunes on their gameboy, and come listen to sci-fi. There is also the Maker Market which is like a dealer room except they don’t accept commodities, only thing’s people have designed themselves. If you need a place to recharge, check out the con suite which has free soda and food all week long.
Penguicon is a convention tailored mainly for adults. While kids are welcome, there are no special passes or events for them. Please keep that in mind.

Join us at Patrick J’s as members of the Committee will be there with the latest news. Enjoy an evening with good friends, good food, and good libations, all with a Steampunk twist.
As always Steampunk garb is suggested but never required. We now start earlier so if you want to bring your kids, they will be welcome.
