Miracle Hero-Con

A pop culture convention who’s aim is to raise funds for make-a-wish and create happiness and smiles.

This convention was started by a few friends who love to bring smiles to kids and kids at heart through the power of cosplay. What better way to help others, especially children, by putting on a comic convention to solely benefit children going through hard times! Come and join us April 2020 for an amazing convention full of incredible guests, musical talent, comic book artists, and some of this countries best cosplayers, and help us raise funds for awesome foundations!

Penguicon 2019

Penguicon is a not-for-profit, community-run convention for open source software, science fiction, music, gaming, DIY, and more. Panel topics include technology, science, eco/green, literature, costuming, food, gaming (board and video), webcomics, action/adventure, music, film, anime and an after dark event. .This is a big hang out for ALL areas of the geek/nerd community. What better way to meet people who wave the geek/nerd flag? People come to Penguicon to learn about securing their network, and also how to make their own cheese. They learn how to create chiptunes on their gameboy, and come listen to sci-fi. There is also the Maker Market which is like a dealer room except they don’t accept commodities, only thing’s people have designed themselves. If you need a place to recharge, check out the con suite which has free soda and food all week long.
Penguicon is a convention tailored mainly for adults. While kids are welcome, there are no special passes or events for them. Please keep that in mind.

Dice Tales: The Brightest Spark

Presenting the twelfth live session of our continuing fundraiser campaign, Straight Outta the Forgotten Realms. Come watch local performers Brad Systma, Cari Scholtens, Chuck Fortenbacher, Liz Brand, and Ross Johnson gather around the table of Gamemaster Brooke Heintz in this live tabletop RP event. This performative evening of fast-paced RP will bring you hours of laughter, thrills, might & magic, and of course, dramatic dice-slinging!

The Children of Destiny have learned what they are up against: the sinister schemes of the goddess Shar, and the cultists who follow her and lurk within the walls of Ordulin. Now, having agreed to be chosen champions of Shar’s sister, the goddess Selune, they must find a way to keep the city from descending into her evil clutches. And it just may involve helping their friends, the Silver Ravens…
