2016 Year in Review Spring Part 1

These Year in Reviews are not, what I call, official “reviews”. Like last year, they will be a series of musings, learned lessons and stories of what I experienced through out the year. Of course, reviews are featured but they are blended in with everything. The theme of FIRSTS sum up the beginning, middle and end of my year, as you will see. Enjoy my year of 2016 in the Michigan Geek Scene.

January Sunday Steampunk Diversion 2017!

Come join us on January 15, 2017 from 3 to 7pm at Arbor Brewing Company Microbrewery . Enjoy good food and drink with great people!

So, roughly about 6 years ago (yes, it’s been that long!), a group of likeminded steampunk individuals started quasi monthly gatherings in Ypsilanti. Over time, the organizers and locations have changed, but one thing that hasn’t is the great feeling of meeting up with good friends and enjoying an afternoon together.

And for those of you who may be wanting to dip your toes in the local steampunk community, this is a perfect first outing. No pressure, no hype, come and join us!

Please also remember that the service style at the brewery is pub style, so please remember to bus your table 🙂

We are proud to continue the tradition of bringing together steampunks from all areas of the mitten. Laugh, smile and have fun with us on January 14th.
